I hereby give notice that the Annual Bolnhurst and Keysoe Parish Council Meeting will be held Monday 09th May 2022 at 7.30pm at Keysoe Village Hall

Agenda

All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting as set out hereunder.

We welcome attendees, but will continue to take reasonable precautions to keep everyone safe as follows:

a) Maintaining a social distance and wearing of face masks are optional. Please respect the wishes of others & move away if requested to do so.

b) Windows will be open for ventilation.

c) We will continue to have sanitiser available & encourage attendees to use it.

1. Election of Chair and Vice-Chair

2. Receive apologies for absence

3. Declarations of members local & pecuniary interests in the business to be transacted hereunder

Members are reminded they must declare any local or pecuniary interests they have in any agenda items. In the case of pecuniary interests, the member must withdraw from the meeting when the matter is being discussed.

6. Agree dates and location of Parish Council meetings for 2022/2023

9. Public Participation

Standing Orders will be suspended for a period of up to 15 minutes to allow members of the public to address the Council in relation to the business on the agenda or to request matters to be considered for a future agenda. Please note that this is limited to a maximum of 3 minutes per member of the public. Councillors and members of the public are reminded the Open Forum is the only part of the meeting that the public can participate in. Only Parish Councillors can take part in the remainder of the meeting. All questions/comments should be made through The Chair.

11.1 Consider and agree undertaking survey with respect to development of Keysoe International and agree next steps
11.2 Receive response from Bedford Borough Council regarding historic planning matters query

12. Review and agree renewal of insurance

13. Consider and agree offer from the Village Show at Keysoe to restore the bench at the War Memorial and agree commemorative plaque

14. Review and agree the rules for the Parish Council Facebook page

15. Receive an update on arrangements for the Platinum Jubilee and agree recommendations from the Working Group

16. Consider request to Bedford Borough Council to use the old school playing field for the benefit of residents

17. Agree use of the Parish Council playing field for private events

Extensions to an existing all-weather surfaced arena with works to include the removal of two arenas (as permitted under 17/03372/FUL) and the creation of a water jump, earth mounds and engineered jumps (part-retrospective). College Farm Equestrian Centre, Church Road, Keysoe – Permitted

Motion to exclude public & press: In accordance with Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 that as publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business about to be transacted at Agenda Item 26 27 namely employment matters it is advisable in the public interest that the Public and Press be excluded from this meeting and will be instructed to withdraw
