INTRUSION ALERT
Yesterday afternoon three men wearing balaclavas broke into a property in Bolnhurst whilst the resident was in the next room.
As soon as they saw the resident they ran off and were chased by the resident.
The intruders ran round the neighbouring property, through a gate into the field and were heard driving away.
Bedfordshire Police attended and had a thorough look round. They said the vehicle tracks indicated a van rather than a car.
Please be alert and keep a lookout for these intruders – let’s hope that they have not frightened others in the neighbourhood.
